I don't want your truck anymore GM not if it's a 1998-2004. I don't know how to get rid of your junk 2nd s10 free and clear so I can get an older vehicle that won't cost me anything more than what scrapping your s10 would leave me with.

I'm about to 39 years old in a few weeks and all I want and need for presents is money so I can save it, you will make me be hurting for a year while I'm saving but your 2nd gen vehicle is garbage and I don't want it anymore. I would love to drive a vehicle with a check engine light on but with how you designed your 2nd gen trash is scary to ignore that light because you wired the vehicle to alert us of a problem but you didn't include the part that is turning on the light is close to a thousand bucks that is why I hate your 2nd gen vehicles so severely.

I'm just saying you need to understand how upsetting is to own one of your vehicles in the 1998-2004 range today in 2024 with the way the economy is on a small income. The type of things your vehicles should only need GM from those of us who get insurance statements for a year with only 2k miles driven, that's right a whole and only 2k miles sometimes only 1k miles, we should only have to be buying gas and brake pads and stater motors for the engine and oil, we are not going to be popping the hood and changing this sensor and that sensor and throttle body and this spark plug and that spark plug, not for that low mileage driving for a whole 12 months we are not putting up with your ecm gimme gimme gimme bs.

I replaced an oil pressure sensor in a 98 s10 you made GM, it didn't fix the low oil pressure, I'm done with you I'm done with your vehicles.

So here is the drill GM, until I see extraordinary improvements when I pop the hood, I'm no longer interested or looking at your vehicles. You try living on a small income and having one of your vehicles in the year range 1998b-2004. You destroyed the 2nd gen vehicles GM. As I said I've driven a 95 and 90 truck and the check engine light is on but you know what? The idle isn't fast and it goes so smooth at green lights like new vehicles do. You know what you did do the s10 particular is what is making me so upset? You installed a sensor that powers 2 sensors and another sensor that powers all 3, why in God's name did you do that?

I mean I can't believe gm made the 1998-2004 s10 trucks the way they did.

I don't understand why GM didn't close and disappear after 1995, you can't work on these junk vehicles when they are made after 1995. To hard to work on and they don't appreciate anything you do, every time I drive my 98 s10 the check engine light comes on, every single time, I can put my seat belt on wrong or if I hurt the clip the check engine light comes on, replace one sensor then pretty soon replace another then another. I do not recommend buying anything gm made in the late 90s and early 2000 as in 1998 2007 stay away from that year range, you will hate life and the vehicle maker and you will start becoming no longer a gm fan and that's not good if you grew up around chevy vehicles since you were a kid.

Great story. I wish you all the best. I would caution you on GM. It is a poorly run company. It has not kept up electrictronally, production of new products and electronic electric cars. They have a huge debt load and car sales are flat. I would think a man of your talents would look at Tesla. They are a data company. Who builds cars and robots as well as rockets, plus several other businesses.

Here’s the problem I see as a recent graduate student. Your teams are aged 50+ which in turn leads to poor decisions for keeping with modern trends. All 4 brands need an overhaul. Cadillac needs to become the pinnacle of American luxury with that said keep Cadillac out of the GMC, Chevy, and Buick platforms. That can be achieved due to Buick still being around and making Buick the standard of luxury. GMC needs their emphasis on a being a premium brand and Chevy can stay where they are. GM needs to put a strong emphasis on reliability to kick stigmas out.

Start making more cars - less suvs for Chevrolet. I don't want to buy an suv, or a truck. I don't even get what Buick means anymore. Before, it seemed like it was the richy / elegant brand, and now it's the I have no clue brand. Or Buick meant for senior citizens brand. What is the point of Buick anymore? Selling sporty cars for Buick is so goofy. It doesn't make any sense. So, now Cadillac is the only richy brand. I think richy cars are dumb though. You should have each brand stand for something. GMC is only trucks. Chevrolet are family cars / 2 stupid suvs. Bring back Pontiac, and Pontiac is for sporty / rugged vehicles (similar to Jeep). Instead of Chevy Camaro, it's the Pontiac Camaro. Saturn would be smaller for cheaper / non family / seniors. Each brand should not be selling everything because than it's completely pointless to even have multiple different brands.
